Special Forces Association Chapter 30 has performed multiple benefits to assist the residents of the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Reserve, Louisiana.  The residents include veterans from World War II, Korean, and the Vietnam wars.  The Covid outbreak claimed the lives of 25% of the residents.  Members of SFA 30 participated in distributing cases of popcorn, caramel corn, drinks, balloons, and gift bags filled with chocolate to all 142 residents every Christmas.   In addition, the members bring pets to interact with the residents, and in conjunction with St. John Sheriffs Office and the first responder motorcycle club, Banded Brothers, a yearly  parade is provided for the residents to enjoy and know they are appreciated.
